Deep below the moon, in the glowing coral city of Coralbell, little Nilo the lanternfish only wants someone to play with — but his bright golden glow keeps ending every game before it begins. When a kind young octopus named Ori sees him hide his light away, she doesn't tell him to be less bright. Instead she finds a way for his glow to lead the whole city home through the coral maze, and everyone learns there is room for his light.

Nilo, the smallest lanternfish on Lantern Lane, shone brighter than he meant to shine. He hurried to the plaza, hoping someone would ask him to play.
