You're trusting us with two of the most personal things a family has — your child's face and your own voice. Here is, plainly, how we treat them.
Your child's photo
The photo you share is used for one thing: painting your child's storybook portrait. The original photo is deleted automatically the moment the portrait is made — whether it turns out or not — and it never appears anywhere else. Delete your account, and the portraits go too.
Your voice
Your recording teaches MoonNest to read in your voice, and nothing else. Narration is powered by a trusted voice technology partner (ElevenLabs); your sample is used only for your own family's stories — never for anyone else's, and never to train anything beyond your own narration voice. Delete your account, and your voice goes with it: the recording, the narration voice, and our partner's copy.
What we never do
- No ads, ever.
- No analytics or tracking — not in the app, not on this site. No selling data.
- No feeds, chats, or strangers — this is a quiet place.
- No purchases where children play. Every purchase sits behind a parent gate, plus the App Store's own Ask to Buy.
